  • MBTCA — The Miniature Bull Terrier Club of America, the parent club for the breed in the United States.

  • American Kennel Club — Breed information, event details, and general guidance for responsible dog ownership.

Health & Testing

  • School of Veterinary Medicine U of WI — A canine nomograph helps determine the best time to vaccinate puppies by estimating when maternal antibodies will no longer interfere with vaccination. We use nomographs to provide each litter with the best possible protection against serious diseases while minimizing gaps in immunity.
  • Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory MSU — We always run a full thyroid panel on all of our breeding stock and this lab is the gold standard.
  • GenSol Animal Diagnostics — Provides genetic testing for PLL, LP, and LAD. We test all of our pups and dogs for these genetic conditions found in Minis.
  • FETCHLAB — We use Dr. Kristine Sonstrom Malowski for BAER testing all of our puppies.
  • Spay & Neuter Timelines — Update for the ideal timeline for choosing to spay or neuter popular dog breeds in an effort to prevent the development of certain joint disorders or cancers.

  • Miniature Bull Terrier Breed Information — The AKC general overview of the breed’s temperament, structure, and care needs.
  • BT Compass — BTCompass is a comprehensive Bull Terrier pedigree and education database that helps breeders research bloodlines, analyze pedigrees, calculate inbreeding coefficients (COI), and make informed breeding decisions while supporting the preservation of the breed. It also offers extensive resources on genetics, health, history, and responsible breeding.
  • Understanding Type — “Type” is what makes any breed what it is. Although this was written for Bull Terriers, it is very helpful in understanding the Mini, which is simply smaller.
